The system is completely scalable in design and distributed in architecture, maximiser IP-PBX (business telephone system) is built around just four modules representing two core components – Call Server and Phone Module. First of these four modules, the 5108 Call Server – was designed specifically to meet the needs of smaller businesses and the branch offices of larger organisations. Embracing open industry standards wherever they exist, every maximiser IP PBX (business telephone system) solution appears to customers, employees and system administrators alike as a single system, no matter how many separate maximiser IP PBX (business telephone system) sites, homeworkers or mobile employees are encompassed. All maximiser IP PBX (business telephone systems) are configured and managed as a single system via a standard web browser.
Rich functionality is supported on maximiser IP PBX (business telephone system) including a one number, "go anywhere, reach me any how" facility, GSM mobile extensions, multi-site hot desking, voicemail, auto-attendant, unified messaging and call recording as standard. maximiser IP PBX (business telephone system) is just at home, and more importantly proves cost-effective, for simple 4 extension "dial-tone" PBX requirements as it does in fully converged, multi-site installations.
Proactive Communication Station (PCS)
To compliment the advanced feature sets of the maximiser IP PBX (business telephone system), SpliceCom offer a wide range of Proactive Communication Stations (PCS), in order to deliver ultimate desktop productivity. PCS 410 is SpliceCom's latest version of the world’s first “keyless” IP Phone which features an integrated, full-size VGA (Video Graphics Array), LCD touch screen, providing context sensitive displays & information. Utilising graphical icons to control telephony functions in the same intuitive manner associated with mobile phones. Pages from the World Wide Web, intranet or web-enabled applications can also be "pushed" directly to the screen of PCS 410. Ease-of-use associated with traditional key phones can be achieved with PCS 100, an IP System Phone combing all the advantages of IP Telephony with requirements for desk top functionality. PCS 10 is a cost effective display phone with pre-configured system access keys, whilst the PCS 5 is an entry-level business phone and completes the range.
An un-bundled version of the PCS 410 application - PCS 60 - which runs on Windows or Mac OS X PCs/laptops, is supplied as standard with maximiser IP PBX (business telephone system). This application can either be utilised as an IP Softphone (Windows/Mac OS X only) or as a “partner” to the PCS 100/10/5 or existing analogue phone.
