British Telecom (BT) Wholesale launched Wholesale Line Rental (WLR) during 2002. Intech Telecom has been involved with the initial product for six years during which time we have gained valuable experience in scheduling both existing lines for transfer to WLR, together with the installation of new lines. Initially Intech launched the service to a small number of its selected customers on a trial basis which enabled Intech to create the infrastructure required to effectively schedule these orders.
It has long been one of this Industry's “Achilles heals” that the client will receive two bills; one for his cheaper calls and the other one still sent directly from BT for the line rental aspect. Fixed line rentals from Intech Telecom offer the opportunity to overcome this objection and thereby become the true one stop shop for our clients, whilst at the same time reducing the client's costs.
