Analogue Lines
BT Wholesale’s PSTN (Public Switched Telephony Network) is the foundation of the analogue network for business customers in the UK. The primary uses for analogue lines are for making voice calls, to carry broadband, VoIP, alarm lines and connecting fax machines.
Intech Telecom can install new Wholesale PSTN lines to business customers in 7 working days through Openreach. An Openreach engineer will arrive and fit the necessary equipment with Intech Telecom simply arrange and manage the installation and billing for you.
ISDN2
Wholesale ISDN2e (Integrated Services Digital Network) is a digital communications service from Intech Telecom that gives you voice, data, faster access to the Internet and is tailored to suit your business needs typically from 2 to 8 channels. Intech telecom only use the largest and most established telephone network in the UK for this service
ISDN2e is two digital telephone lines known as channels which operate at speeds of 64kbps each. The two channels can be bonded to work as one 128kbps (or multiples of 64kbps) connection or independently allowing the user to make a call and use the Internet or receive a fax simultaneously at 64kbps. Because the connection is digital, there is the added benefit of increased clarity for voice calls and larger data files and e-mails can be sent and received more quickly and securely.
Intech Telecom can arrange installation of new Wholesale ISDN2e lines in 8-20 working days and Wholesale ISDN30 installations normally take between 4-8 weeks, subject to survey. ISDN30
ISDN30e is an advanced Wholesale digital solution from Intech Telecom for enterprises that require a greater number of lines than is practical with ISDN2e. Where a business typically requires in excess of 8 lines on the same number to be connected to a digital or IP telephone system, Intech Telecom would recommend ISDN30e.
Most busy call centres use ISDN30e as there primary connection because it provides a clear and fast connection when making voice calls and can also be used to connect a number of pc's to the Internet or for high quality video conferencing.

CLI
CLI is a Wholesale supplementary service from Intech Telecom that lets you see the number and when integrated to a modern telephone system the name of the person calling before you pick up the phone, enabling you to route the call in a specific manner or greet people with the appropriate salutation.
When CLI is used in conjunction with CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) calls can be manipulated by end users, for example a customer who calls the sales number but, has not paid their last bill can be automatically rerouted to the accounts department or the sales person can be informed that the customer needs to clear their outstanding balance before any further sales transactions take place.
DDI (direct dial inwards)
Most modern businesses require multiple numbers for phones, faxes and computers, a service available on both Wholesale ISDN2e and ISDN30e provided by Intech Telecom. Utilising DDI, you can associate individual extensions their own telephone numbers, enabling your customers to contact individuals or departments in your company directly without going via your switchboard. This time saving and productivity improving facility can provide real cost savings for most businesses. DDI allows you to increase the amount of telephone numbers available for use with your ISDN2e and ISDN30e channels.
